I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lodge in the northern sector of Kruger Park, and I must say, it was an absolutely stunning retreat. The location of this hotel is simply breathtaking, set in a spectacular setting with views of the valley and the river. The rooms were beautifully designed, with full-length blinds that could be opened to let in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The attention to detail was impressive, with electric blinds in place of walls, giving us an expansive view of the wildlife and nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, and the food was delicious, with just the right portions and a great variety to choose from during breakfast. The ranger who guided us on our game drives was extremely knowledgeable and his explanations about the African bush and the bird life were absolutely fascinating. We even had the opportunity to witness huge herds of elephants up close, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was a truly superb experience.

Had an okay time at the hotel. The location was great, close to the center, and easy to walk to. The rooms were spacious, and some of them had a pretty cool balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful which made us feel comfortable.
The downside was that the air conditioning was nonexistent, and it was needed as the temperatures were high. The room was like an oven, and with no curtains, we couldn't even cool the room down to an acceptable degree.

The hotel offers great value for money with its inclusive package of drinks, meals, game drives, laundry, and transfers. The location of the hotel is breathtaking, nestled away from the park and offering expansive views of the valley and the river. Watching elephants taking a bath from the bed is an incredible experience, as described by a previous guest. The staff at this hotel are friendly, professional, and attentive, making guests feel right at home. They anticipate guests' needs and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms at this hotel are spacious and beautifully decorated, with electric blinds replacing walls, allowing for uninterrupted views of the river and the scenic surroundings. The blinds, as mentioned in a review, may have some noise, but the overall experience of the open rooms is well worth it.
No improvements needed.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were reasonable considering the exceptional service and attention to detail we received throughout our stay. The location, away from the crowded areas of the park, allowed for a more peaceful and relaxing experience. The staff were friendly, warm, and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms, with their electric blinds and expansive views of the valley and river, were simply breathtaking. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast every morning, a perfect start to our day.

We stayed at a lodge near Kruger Park that had a unique open layout. Our room had a great view down to the river and was nicely furnished. the breakfast was delicious and the staff provided excellent service. the lodge even had a small library to relax in. We also saw lots of animals on the game drives. it was a great experience.
The lodge didn't have any indoor spaces to escape the elements in case of bad weather.

Spent New Year's at this lodge and it was a great experience. the rooms were well-designed and offered an immersive bush feel. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the game drives were informative. the location had great views and offered a good chance to sight some wildlife.
The food was good, but the menu options could have been more varied. the drive to the lodge was quite long, which can be a bit of a challenge for some people.
